The relationship between emotional intelligence and irrational beliefs with aboriginal and emigrant individuals in a sample of college students Abstract The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence(ei)(ie, Social Responsibility (RE) & Reality Testing) and Irrational Beliefs with aboriginal and emigrant individuals in a sample of college students Method: the sample included Two hundred and fortycollege students ( aboriginal, emigrant, N= ) that all were randomly selected All participants completed The Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQi)and the Assessment Test for Irrational Beliefs (ATIB), and state of aboriginal and emigrant was investigated Data was analyzed by Pearson statistical correlation test The results Showed that emigrant individuals score s in the major of EI subscales further than aboriginal individuals score s In addition, it was found that irrational beliefs aboriginal individuals score s further than emigrant individuals score s Conclusion: Thus, the Immigration is a important factor to determine the levels of emotional intelligence and irrational beliefs because the emotional intelligence of emigrant students further than aboriginal student and irrational beliefs of aboriginal students lower than emigrant students Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Irrational Beliefs, emigrant, aboriginal memadahi@yahoocom nasirudinjavidi@yahoocom Monasamadzadeh@gmailcom ATIB EQ-
