Letter from the Chairs Dear Colleague, It is with great pleasure that we invite you to New York for the 2nd annual Management of Women with Chronic Immune Disorders in the Era of Biologics conference to be held September 25, 2010. This unique conference will focus on the impact of biological agents and novel drug therapies on the treatment of chronic immune disorders in women - including inflammatory bowel disease, psoriasis, and rheumatoid arthritis. This one day educational event will include presentations by nationally recognized faculty as well as lively interaction via expert-moderated panel discussions. Clinicians across multiple disciplines will be able to benefit from these case-based discussions on challenges and controversies currently surrounding chronic immune disorders. Attendees can expect to leave this conference with not only a greater understanding of how to use biologics safely and with improved patient outcomes but more importantly, better insight into how the presence and management of this group of diseases can impact women from adolescence to adulthood, throughout pregnancy, and entering menopause. These quality of life and social issues are common concerns for female patients and are just as important in determining optimal treatment and management of chronic immune disorders. Please join us in New York for what promises to be a rewarding and highly educational experience.
