General Safety Rules WARNING! READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in serious personal injury. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS Supervision of athletes while using the equipment is recommended. Horse play such as climbing on the machine or using the machine for unintended purpose can result in injuries. Athletes should be oriented in the proper use of the equipment. Athletes should be properly fit to engage in a workout regimen. Obtaining a medical exam prior to beginning any exercise program is recommended. If an athlete feels faint, dizzy, or experiences pain at any time while exercising, they should stop exercising and consult a physician. Athletes should wear close fitting clothing to keep the clothing free from and clear of all moving parts. Inspect equipment prior to use. DO NOT use if it appears damaged or inoperable. Failure to read this Packet is considered a misuse of this equipment. Warning labels are an integral part of this machine. Become familiar with all caution/warning labels and never cover or deface caution/warning labels. Install the equipment allowing sufficient room for safe access to the machine, adequate room for the spotters to stand and to ensure that the machine does not collide with a wall or another machine through the entire range of motion. Use of a spotter is recommended. Spotters should stand behind the athlete using the machine or to either side of the athlete. When using PIT Shark spotter should not attempt to reach into the main part of the rack system. Stay clear of all pinch points. Instruct all athletes to keep fingers away from the weight arm and away from moving parts that may present danger of pinching. Unit is designed for performing exercises with proper technique using only authorized Rogers Athletic components. Do not use weight equipment for anything other than its approved purpose. Equipment is designed for use by one person at a time. Keeping other athletes and spectators away from the machines during use is recommended. 1

Assembly Instructions Assembly will require two people 1 Pin Placement Before putting the Pit Shark into the rack, make sure that the pins are in the correct holes. For racks with a hardwood floor, the pins need to be in the second and fourth holes from the top. For racks without hardwood floors, the pins need to be in the first and third holes. 2 Screw feet Roll the Pit Shark by lifting on the platform. Align the Pit Shark between the rack uprights and roll inwards. Allow the pins to drop into the corresponding slots in the uprights. Lower the platform. To level platform adjust screw feet to desired height 5

5 Band Attachement Pin Insert the Band Attachment Pin into the desired hole. Closer to the platform equals less resistance. 6 Install the Pull-up bars by sliding the pins into the desired slots of the rack upright. The bars should be pointing up and towards the center of the system. 7
7 Install the Dip Bar by sliding the pins into the desired slots of the rack upright. The bars should be pointing towards the center of the system. Dip bars can also be installed facing outwards to be used as Squat Assist bars. 8 Heavier Heavier Lighter Lighter When hooking into the Pit Shark, note that the closer to the arm that you place your hook, the heavier the arm will feel. Caution! When adjusting make sure to keep hands and feet away from fin. 8
9 To lock the Pit Shark arm up, lift up on the arm and pull back on the handle. This will position the hooks under the weight horn and prevent the machine from going down. To release the hook, simply lift up or begin your workout and the hook will fall back to its original position. 10 To create tension on arms place pin in hole and attach band to pin and weight horn To adjust tension on arms move pin farther away from weight horn to make tension greater, if more tension is desired place second pin in first or second hole and place other pin in 4 th or 5 th hole and place band over 1 st pin and go under 2 nd and over the weight horn adjust to desired tension. For less tension move pin closer to weight horn 9
Removing pit shark Attachment Removing pit shark will require two people 1 Holding slots To remove pit shark attachment from pendulum weight rack remove tension bands and pins and place pins in holding slots 2 Flip arms up and pull pins to release arms and slide arms out flip down and place arms into Holding slot 10
3 Tilt unit up on to wheels and push out. Note: this step requires 2 people at least one in front and one behind. 11
