Agenda Sierra Foothills Lacrosse Club Member Meeting- 2016 Season Kick off Thursday, September 10, 2015 7PM Loomis Train Depot Facilitator- Shanna Westphal 1. Board Changes 2. 2015 Fall Clinics 3. Volunteers Needed Board Changes: Interim President - Andy Noah Andy has accepted the interim position. He welcomed members with his history with the club and his vision on club growth, community spirit and collaboration with club members. This is a Loomis thing and we don t let things die... We are the Eagles. In addition to his enthusiasm about the spirit of the teams and club, he outlined how a short term plan has been put into place to kick start the season. Andy represented the voice of the interim board who is actively recruiting member buy in, promoting club transparency, and seeking help from all members for the creation of and sustainability of the long term plan. Fall 2015 Clinics When? Oct 31 st 2:00-4:00 PM & Nov 1 st, 7 th & 8 th, 2:00-5:00 PM Where? Loomis Basin Community Park South -Fields 4 and 5 Who? All Club Members and as many new people as we can attract to come out and try Lacrosse *Parental Waiver must be signed to participate. FLYER & SIGN DISTRIBUTION Asked all members to distribute flyers Large Signs to be placed strategically throughout community Age Brackets for 2016 Season Girls are encouraged to and welcome to register for youth teams through the U15 age Bracket

Registration for 2016 Season Anticipated registration: 1. Varsity Team- Coach Ryan Frisch 2. 2 U13 Teams- Coaches John Daly and John Beck 3. 1 U11 Team- Coach to be determined- Volunteers? 4. Other Teams-- if registration and coaches are available to support other teams Interim Board and Volunteers committed to opening registration within the next 2 Weeks. Registration deadline will be roughly around December 1, 2015. Exact dates will be posted on website and distributed upon registration opening. A new website platform may be explored for registration and website upkeep. It was noted that the current system has limitations for coaching communications. Ryan Frisch will explore what other area teams are using and recommending. He will share the information with Bridget Daly and Linda DeWees-Condrey for exploration of the implementation of a new registration and website tool. Advertising Players Needed Dave Vice volunteered to help the new Fundraising and Advertising coordinator once appointed FOCUS: Advertising the Club to Sponsors Bridget Daly will create a sponsorship packet for members to promote throughout community to gain sponsors Sponsorship levels will not be limited so that we do not exclude sponsors. Tiers to be determined as part of sponsorship packet creation. The more the merrier is the approach. Asked all members to pound the pavement for sponsors once packet is available. Advertising the Club to Players We need all age group players- Promote Clinics and encourage registration by December 2015 for the 2016 Season

We especially need U15 age group players- to feed into high school teams in future years Plans to get the club name out there: SIGNS AND FLYERS EVERYWHERE Homecoming Float- Sarah Williams volunteer Float coordinator Truck and trailer provided by John Daly Hay - The feed store- Contact Ted Youth ride in trailer with Jerseys sharing candy with crowd High School Walk along side in Jerseys handing out flyers Eggplant Festival Booth- Member player representation School Harvest Festivals- Booth and player representation School Flyers- In Process- Shanna Westphal School Lacrosse demonstrations- TBD Handing out flyers at local sport practices with player demos- TBD Sponsorship Drive @ local Businesses- ASAP Rocklin Cool Chili and Hot Cars= TBD Open Forum and Member Feedback and Questions Greg McGowan Long Term Plan, Tell Members exactly what is needed and what for, Professional Development, Growth Plan, Budget line items and Money needed for them John Daly - Loomis is our base but we will be actively recruiting in Rocklin, Lincoln, Auburn, Newcastle etc. Everyone is welcome no matter where they are from but our base is here. Sponsorship is available but we need to tell people what they are getting (Advertising!) and follow through with providing it.

Meeting Close Andy Noah- Closed with a unity of club members to promote SFLC in community and to grow the club. Took vote willingness of members to participate in open Member Meeting in Future Approved by Members- Next Meeting to be Scheduled in one Month Took vote on re-establishing the original Eagles Logo Approved by Members- Logo :
