Important Information Thank you for applying for a grant to celebrate National Carers Week which runs from Sunday 14 Saturday 20 October 2018. Before you begin your application, please read the Frequently Asked Questions which are available to download from the Carers NSW website. The NSW Department of Family and Community Services funds Carers NSW to provide grants of $300.00 AUD to carer support groups and organisations to plan events and activities for carers during National Carers Week. Organising an event is a wonderful way to acknowledge anyone caring for a family member or friend and to give them a break from the responsibilities of their caring role. Many events attract new carers to carer support groups and planning an event is a great way of reaching out to hidden carers in your area.
