Anne wrote new words on Helen s hand with her fingers. Later, Helen went to school and in 1904, she was the first deaf-blind person to graduate from university. As an adult, Helen Keller became a famous writer. She wrote eleven books and travelled to more than 40 different countries. In 1965, Helen became a member of the Women s Hall of Fame.
