Operating Procedure Steps. 1 Assemble the CPK abutment on the implant. Recommended tightening moment: 30-35 Ncm. Internal Hexagon Connection
External Hexagon Connection
2. Insert the impression coping plastic cap on the CPK abutment. The hatch on the top of the plastic transfer indicates the location of the flat area (anti-rotation).
2A Snap engagement. Indicates the right location of the impression coping plastic cap on the abutment.
3 Take the impression. Recommended impression material: silicone over 20- shore hardness.
4 Place the temporary healing cap on top of the abutment, to allow soft tissue healing. Use temporary glue. Optional procedure: Take out the abutment and place a titanium healing cap according to tissue thickness.
Operating procedure: In the laboratory 5 Insert the abutment analog into the plastic cap (in the impression tray). Verify that the analog fits properly.
6 Place the wax-up anti-rotation plastic cap on the abutment analog. Cut the plastic cap according to analog height. For bridge reconstruction cases, use the white burn out plastic cap without the flat area.
7 The plastic copings for CPK abutment are fitted thanks to a snap mechanism on the plastic that is sited on the analog abutment. This allows the abutment to be perfectly positioned and fixed on the analog. However, once the coping has been cast, it is essential to remove excess material using the MT-CS450 reamer shoulders before placing the abutment on the analog.
