SURGICAL SEMINAR GUATEMALA July 16-20, 2018

WELCOME Dear Doctor, Congratulations on taking the first step toward a career in dental implantology, and I d like to personally thank you for your interest in the Dental Implant Surgical Seminar (DISS). Bellow you will find information about DISS faculty, program schedule and hotel accommodations. We look forward to working with you to advance your career. Sincerely, Dr. Omid Termechi

ABOUT DISS The Dental Implant Surgical Seminar (DISS) helps general and restorative dentists expand their private practice into implant surgery. The seminar provides a thorough introduction to the basics of dental implant surgery and hands-on training in soft tissue management and anatomical structures. DISS graduates can perform basic dental implant surgery, troubleshoot and conduct follow-ups after surgery. In their own office, for example, they can comfortably place implants next to natural teeth (at least in cases that don t require aesthetic involvement). DISS graduates can provide general and restorative treatments to patients with a full upper-lower denture. Our graduates also thoroughly understand their armamentarium. Our mission is to place general practitioners on a solid foundation at the start of their career in dental implant treatments. DISS programs guide participants from basic surgery to full restorations of their implant cases. DISS programs are conducted at Universidad Francisco Marroquin (UFM) School of Dentistry in Guatemala. UFM has a state-of-the-art dental clinic with on-premise digital X-Rays, CT Scanners, a 3D printer for the surgical guide and full digital scanner for restorative work. In the course of this hands-on clinical experience, DISS participants will gain experience working on 10-15 implants. Successful completion of DISS creates a solid foundation for more advanced courses currently under consideration or in development. Our Partners
