Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene to Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Degree Completion Program Articulation Agreement 07-08 Catalog It is agreed that students transferring from (MHCC) with the Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene Degree and successful completion of the National Dental Hygiene Board Examination to s (OIT) Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Degree Completion Program will be given full credit for all selected courses listed below. This agreement is based on the evaluation of the rigor and content of the general education and technical courses at both MHCC and OIT, and is subject to a yearly reevaluation by both schools for continuance. This agreement is dated December, 07. Baccalaureate students must complete a minimum of 60 credits of upper-division work before a degree will be awarded. Upper-division is defined as 00-and 00-level classes at a bachelor s degree granting institution. Baccalaureate students at OIT must complete 5 credits from OIT before a degree will be awarded. Students are responsible for notifying the OIT Distance Education Department and the OIT Registrar s Office when operating under this articulation agreement to ensure their credits transfer as outlined in this agreement. In order to utilize this agreement students must be attending during the above catalog year. Students must enroll at OIT within three years of this approval. OIT requires 9 humanities credits. However, only humanities credits can be studio/performance based.. In order to be awarded a bachelor degree from OIT, the following must be satisfied: a. Complete a minimum of 5 credits directly from OIT. b. Complete a minimum of 60 credits of upper-division work. Upper-division is defined as 00- and 00- level classes at a bachelor s degree granting institution. You will be awarded some upper-division credit for your successful dental hygiene national board examination. c.
