Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development 13400 East Shea Boulevard Scottsdale, Arizona 85259 Telephone: (480) 301-4580 Dear Representative, On behalf of Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development, we are pleased to announce our new continuing medical education activity Mayo Clinic s Updates in Cardio-Oncology: Challenges and New Frontiers that will be held February 1-3, 2018 at the Omni Scottsdale Resort at Montelucia in Scottsdale, Arizona. We invite you and your company to exhibit at this CME activity. The exhibit fee is $3,000. Space is limited; early registration is advised. This course reviews clinically important information regarding the management of cardiac and vascular diseases affecting patients with cancer and cancer survivors. The interactive, practice-based format includes case presentations and state-of-the-art lectures in recent and topical developments in this emerging field. The goal is to improve quality, safety and outcomes for patients within the dynamic and interactive educational experience. The current state of knowledge of common cardiovascular complications such as heart failure (HF), myocardial ischemia, hypertension (HTN), thromboembolism, QT prolongation, and bradycardia is associated with frequently used anticancer medications. As you can see from the attached program, we have designed an excellent course to give clinical cardiologists, heart failure specialists, oncologists, hematologists, internal medicine specialists, and allied health personnel working in cardiology or hematology-oncology areas clinically important information in cardio-oncology. NEW Mayo Clinic now offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities for industry support! Please refer to the attached sponsorship description page for available opportunities.
