Elite Sports Training Program Training the 21st Century Athlete Today s athletes are becoming bigger, faster, and stronger each year. Everyone is looking for a Competitive Edge to try and improve performance and reach maximum levels of competition. Elite Sports Training Program will give athletes the ability to reach these maximal levels of competition in a safe quality manner. The program will also help athletes lower the risk of sustaining injuries when participating in their sports by stressing the importance of fine technical skills in all areas of training. Elite Sports Training Program Too many young athletes today are developing chronic overuse type injuries which have affected their performance. These and other types of injuries could have been prevented if athletes had participated in a quality strength training program by addressing certain weaknesses such as upper or lower body strength, core strength and stability (abdominal, low back, hip region) and flexibility. Athletes who participate in this program will understand what their weaknesses may be and how to improve in these areas to help prevent injuries and improve performance. www.elitesportstrainingmilton.com Session Dates Program begins Monday, June 25, 2018. Training is 3 times/week (Mon - Wed - Thursday). Last session will be Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018. No session Wednesday, July 4th. 9-week and 5-week programs are available. For specific times, please see the application form. Training the 21st Century Athlete

Program Objectives Level I Program Afternoon Session (Session IA) 12:30 pm 2:30 pm Evening Session (Session IB) 6:00 pm 8:00 pm The Level I Program is designed to help all athletes ages 12 to 14 improve their overall athleticism. This particular stage of development and growth is important for young athletes. The age specific strength, speed, and conditioning exercises introduced to this group will help athletes of any sport see and feel immediate improvements in all areas of training. With specific attention focused on developing proper movement patterns, this program will help athletes understand how to properly train so they can reach their true potential in a safe environment. The excersise programs occur both in and out of the fitness center and are closely supervised by our well trained staff members. Athletes do not have to commit to the afternoon or evening session. They can change which session (afternoon or evening) they would like to train in during each workout.
