Universal services are free to all providers Setting membership gives you access to an early years adviser, a range of free support and training, a free advert on our eycjobs website and even bigger savings on prices for training and conferences Group membership offers a chance to save on multi-site support with a package specially tailored to group settings Members can save more with bundles and on training, support, Forest School activity or a mix of support and training Pay-as-you-go gives you exactly what you want, when you want it. What you will get: Membership runs from 1 September to 31 August, and is a cost-effective way to ensure you get the support you need, including Early Years Adviser telephone and e-mail support Half-day Early Years Quality Framework themed visit A free job advertisement on our eycjobs website At least 25% off pay-as-you-go training programme courses and conferences 2 free places at forums 12 training credits to use for Cambridgeshire Essentials* courses How much you will pay: Prices for early years settings will be based on the number of 3- and 4-year-olds claimed in the Summer term. 6 early years S E R V I C E Group membership NEW for 2018-2019, our group membership offers managers and owners of multiple settings in Cambridgeshire the opportunity to enjoy tailored support at a discounted price. There is no need to calculate setting size prices are based on a fixed amount per provision. The more settings in your group, the lower the price per setting. What you will get: Membership runs from 1 September to 31 August, and will give you ONE in-house training session of 3 hours for up to 35 people on a theme of your choice Early Years Adviser telephone and e-mail support 6 training credits per setting to use for Cambridgeshire Essentials training courses (based on all settings under one virtual office) A briefing session for your Quality Manager or similar on the use of CASEY across your group Up to 30% off pay-as-you-go training programme courses and conferences for all staff Two places per setting at our termly Foundation Years Forums One Adviser-led focused setting visit or whole staff meeting each term How much you will pay: Number of settings 2-3 4-5 6 7 8+ Price per setting 140 130 120 110 100 Total price 280/ 420 520/ 650 720 770 From 800

early years S E R V I C E 7 Membership bundles Members can get even more from membership by choosing one of our extra value bundles. Members can buy blocks of training, support visits, or a mix of both. Bundles can be used flexibly to plan and book ahead from our programme and with your adviser. Special Forest School bundles are also available. Bundles cost 450, and prices work out cheaper than buying at members rates, typically saving 10% on individual prices. There are four bundles available, and you can buy any combination, at any time, for your use during the year. Out of school providers can also purchase bundles and group membership (detailed above). Membership prices for childminders Childminders can continue with our great value membership offer in 2018-19. Childminders can also choose to pay-as-you-go for support sessions, Foundation Years Forums and other activities, but membership is the best value option.

It contains a wealth of information and resources for providers on all aspects of operating effective provision, including full details of our membership offer and training programme. https:///early-years/ Our website also contains a range of tools and guidance to support your business, including our business sustainability tool, which won the Local Authority Sharing Practice Award in the 2018 national Childcare Works Awards.

14 early years S E R V I C E Knowledge Hub Settings and schools have access to a range of specialist groups on our own secure social media platform, the Learn Together Hub (part of the Knowledge Hub network). Groups include: Early Years Designated Person for Child Protection (PVI), Early Years SEN Coordinators, Early Years leads in Schools and many more! Groups offer an opportunity to share practice and ask questions relevant to certain key roles in a secure and supportive environment, as well as the chance to build professional networks, facilitated and moderated by Council advisers. Groups also hold libraries of key resources and other useful information. Membership of individual groups is free, based on practitioners roles in their setting.

early years S E R V I C E 15 Terms and conditions This brochure includes the charged membership packages available for early years providers during the academic year 2018-19. Early Years and childcare settings should indicate their intention to purchase membership by 1 September 2018 to take full advantage of membership benefits. Membership is annual. Membership for the 2018-19 year will commence on 1 September 2018 and end on 31 August 2019. Setting membership will be charged in two parts: Autumn/Spring in November 2018 Summer in June 2019 Childminder membership is payable in full in November 2018. Membership will be charged based on the provider s status at the time of purchase (e.g. non-funded childminder, maintained school). Additional bundles can be purchased at any point in the membership year. Any unused bundle or membership content cannot be carried over to the next membership year and will be lost. The cost of additional bundles will be chargeable in full at the time of purchase. Special arrangements will apply to settings currently receiving Requires Improvement or Inadequate Ofsted ratings. The Early Years Service aims to provide high quality support and the best value for money to providers.
