Mission & Areas Served Statements Mission Statement Liberty Women's Clinic ministers with the love of Christ by empowering people to make informed, life-affirming decisions about pregnancy, sexual health and relationships. Background Statement The vision for Liberty Women's Clinic was birthed in 1997 and our doors opened in October 2002. In 2006, we began the process of converting to a medical clinic in order to offer the powerful tool of ultrasound. In August 2007, the Clinic was named a center of excellence by Focus on the Family, received the Options Ultrasound grant and began offering limited obstetrical ultrasound. LWC also provides physical support and education to our clients. By 2013, LWC expanded with a Mobile Clinic that serves inner Kansas City with the same services as the Liberty Clinic. Currently, LWC is operating in a new facility that has triple the space and (at minimum) double client capacity. Impact Statement At Liberty Women's Clinic, we are thankful to include the following accomplishments in 2017-2018: 32% increase in clients served.we are now providing STI testing and treatment for our clients.increased service hours in our new space. Our goals for the next year include: Increase in clients served by 25%.Increase in number of STI clients served.increase awareness of life concerns to entire faith community. Needs Statement Liberty Women's Clinic top two urgent needs are: Ultrasound machine (1): $30,000 Staffing to fit increase in client volume and STI testing: $60,000 CEO/Executive Director/Board Chair Statement The Liberty Women's Clinic opened its doors in October 2002. We have experienced many successes and challenges due to the substantial growth of the organization. From our small beginnings, the Board has made many difficult decisions in order to foster growth and expansion of the organization. Some of the decisions include converting to medical services, adding staff, increasing marketing efforts which resulted in increased client and donor base and launching our Mobile Clinic to reach additional clients in inner Kansas City. By far, the biggest challenge in the past fourteen years for the Board was to make the decision to convert to a medical clinic and to follow through with the demanding process of reaching that goal. Long-term planning, financial projections and staff additions including adding a Medical Director were some of the tough decisions that faced the Board. Working together as a team was imperative. In addition, the launch of the Mobile Clinic created a whole new realm of challenges. Reaching clients in the urban core constituted a new marketing perspective and implementation. While the Board is not involved in the day-to-day operations of the Clinic, we have carried the responsibility of ensuring positive outcomes in the growth process. Funding has been received through major events as well as from an increasing individual donor base and some of these funds have been specifically earmarked for stated objectives. Goals have been set to accomplish these objectives within promised time frames and results have been reported to donors as a means of showing accountability. The Board continues to set the bar high in order to accomplish our mission and inform donors who give sacrificially. Service Categories Reproductive Health Care Areas of Service Areas Served 2

We would also like to see continued community relations to establish LWC in the urban core. The measurement of our success is based on the number of annual client visits from women who might be experiencing an unintended pregnancy and subsequently the number of lives saved and changed. Year to date, the Mobile Clinic has provided 228 services with 44 total client visits. CSI classes Description Category LWC's ideal client would continue her prenatal education upon choosing life for her child. Care Support and Inform classes (CSI) are one-on-one education classes with a nurse covering a wide range of topics: health and nutrition, delivery, breastfeeding, postpartum, etc. Each client also receives pre-natal vitamins for participating (via Vitamin Angels).
