Acid Additives and Inhibitors Evonik Acid Foamer and Acid Thickener are designed to foam and thicken most inorganic and organic acids. In addition to the acid additives, Evonik offers Inhibitors 60Q and 60S for corrosion protection of mild steel and stainless steel when exposed to inorganic and organic acids. Acid Foamer Acid Thickener Inhibitor 60Q Inhibitor 60S A cationic surfactant designed to provide dense, stable foam in strong acids such as hydrochloric, hydrofluoric and sulfuric acids. Acid Foamer provides 99% inhibition of HCl or H2SO4 on stainless steel. A cationic surfactant designed to thicken a variety of acids. A versatile and effective corrosion inhibitor for use in cleaning applications. It is designed to not darken in most acid solutions allowing for a lighter-colored acid-based product. A effective, less expensive version of Inhibitor 60Q. It can be used in acid cleaning applications where the acid color is not critical.
