GLAUCOMA UPDATE in the Napa Valley Napa, California The Glaucoma fellowship in the Napa Valley is intended to provide practicing general ophthalmologists with a yearly update on glaucoma by providing clinical and evidencebased updates in a setting conducive to learning. OBJECTIVES Based on discussions with UCSF faculty and practicing physicians at other institutions, the topics were chosen based on physicianidentified need for practice-based knowledge. An attendee completing this course should be able to: Incorporate new techniques in the management and treatment of glaucoma patients; Incorporate the best available evidence and recent clinical research to improve patient assessment and treatment approaches; Improve clinical confidence through application of recent advances in ophthalmology.
