The Missouri Mental Health Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charity organization established in 2008 to provide a singular focus of raising awareness and public understanding of the many issues impacting individuals and families living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and addiction disorders. The Foundation collaborates with the Missouri Department of Mental Health, as well as other organizations, in providing broad-based public education, awareness and stigma-reduction services. Such services may include positive media communications, public service announcements, educational and awareness campaigns, mental health resources, trainings and conferences, and marketing to the general public. 2

One minute, you re a successful freelance writer and businesswoman, mother of four children, and wife of Bob Woodruff, the newly appointed co-anchor of ABC s World News Tonight. The next minute, your life turns upside down when your husband is severely wounded in a roadside bomb attack in Iraq. Showing immense courage, Woodruff held her family together. Woodruff has penned multiple best-selling books and is a contributing reporter for CBS This Morning. Lee and Bob Woodruff are the founders of the Bob Woodruff Family Fund for Traumatic Brain Injury.
