RATlFICATION OF MINUTES OF THE }MC MEETlNG HELD ON 13.12.2013 IMC ratified the minutes ofimc Meeting held on 13.12.2013 II. DEFERRED PROPOSALS OF THE LAST IMC MEETlNG HELD ON 13.12.2013 1. Setting up a CFS at Gujarat Pipavav Port, Ucchaiya, Gujarat by APM Terminals India Pvt. Ltd. (F. No. 16/22/2013-lnfra 1) The issue has been pending for too long, only for verification of the fact whether the proposed CFS is inside the notified area of the port or not. Commissioner (Customs) had recommended the case earlier. It was therefore, decided that the matter may be sorted out in the next 10 days and for this purpose, Development Commiss ioner, Kandla wi ll associate the stakeholders, visit the site and make a report. 2
2. Setting up of a rail-linked ICD at Sahnewal, District Ludhiana, Punjab by Innovative B2B Logistics Solutions Ltd. (F. No. 16/2112013-Infra I) T here were different views emerging on the projections of traffic, with the applicant and ED(Railways) observing that there is no congestion in Ludhiana area and Director(CBEC) stating that the project is not viable. Accordingly, it was decided that Development Commissioner, Noida will visit the site and make a report, after involving all the stakeholders. 3. Setting up a CFS at Village Koproli, Uran Taluka, Dist. Raigad, Maharashtra by Nhava Sheva Logistics Pvt. Ltd. (F. No. 16124/2013-lnfl"a I) Deferred. 4. Problems at JNPT while commissioning new CFS projects in and around JNPT (F.No.16/8/2013-Infra-l) No Comments. 5. Setting up a rail-linked ICD at Village Jattipur, near Samalkha, Panipat by Mis. Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhava Seva) Ltd. (F.No.16/30/2013-Infra I) Deferred. CBEC to send report within 15 days. 6. Setting up a Container Freight Stations Highway, Panvel by Take Care Logistics (F.No.16/33/2013-Infra I) (CFS) at Mumbai Park (India) Pvt. Goa, Ltd. Deferred. 7. Setting up a Inland Container Depot (lcd) in Kathuwas & Mandhan Village adjoining Neemrana Industrial area of Alwar District, Rajasthan. by Container Corporation of India Ltd.(CONCOR) (F.No.16/35/2013-Infra-I) IMC approved the proposal. Formal Lor to be issued. 8. Setting up an Inland Container Depot (JCD) in Pantanagar by SIDCUL Concor Infra Company Ltd. (F.No.16/3612013-Infra I) IMC approved the proposal. Extension of 'In-principle approval' for setting up the ICD at Kherda, Gujarat was granted to the Hasti Petrochemicals and Shipping Limited (HPCSL) (F.No.I6/I6/2011-lnfra-l).No representative of the company was present to explain the case. 10. Extension of 'In-principle approval' for setting up of ICD at Jaipur, Rajasthan to Hasti Petro-Chemicals and Shipping Ltd (F.No.I6/21120I2 Infra-I) No representative of the company was present to explain the case. III. EXTENTION OF LOI CASES 11. Extension of LOI for setting up of ICD at G.c. Bawal, District Rewari, Haryana of Mis Sanjvik Terminals Pvt. Ltd. (S h time extension) (F.No. 1612112008-Infra-I) IMC granted extension ofloi upto 30.6.2014. 12. Extension of LOI Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) for setting up oficd at Kaonur, Kerala. (4 htime extension) (F.No. 16/10/2010 Infra-I) IMC granted extension 30.6.2014. 13. ICD at Baddi, Solan dis!, Himachal Pradesh(S'h time extension) (F.No. 16/2412009-Infra-I). IMC granted extension oflo! upto 30.9.2014. 14. Mis E.F.C. Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. for Setting up of CFS at Village Veshvi, Post Dighore, Tal-Uran, Dist. Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra (IS' time extension) (F.No. I6/1412012-lnfra-I). ]MC granted extension ofloi upto 30.6.2014. 15. IV. NEW PROPOSALS 16. Setting up a Container Freight Stations (CFS) at Sadayankuppam, Village No. 44, Madhavaram Taluk, Tiruvottiyur Municipality, Thiruvallur District. (F.No. 16/3412013-Infra-I) Deferred. The proposal is under examination by Ministry of Shipping. Comments are awaited from CBEC and Railways. V. SUPPLEMENTARY AGENDA ITEMS 17. Extension of WI of Mis. Boxtrans Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. for setting up the Rail linked ICD at Village Panchi Gujaran, adjoining to Bodhwal Majri Railway Station, District Sonepat, Haryana (2 nd extension) (F.No. 16/40/20U-Infra-I). IMC granted extension oflo! uplo 31.7.2014. 18. Extension of WI of MIs. Calyx Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd. for setting up a CFS at Puzhal Village, Thiruvallur, Chennai (7 th extension) (F.No. 16/1212009-Infra-I). IMC granted extension ofloi upto 30.6.2014. CBEC to consider giving clearance on staff sharing basis, as has been done in other cases. Vl. The Chairman observed that a number of cases are pending for want of comments of CBEC. According to Member (CBEC),s letter of 26.2.2014, some reports are awaited from the field offices. The Chairman requested that CBEC should follow up these cases and obtain report from the field. Director (CBEC) wbo was present in the IMC meeting stated that few more days are needed. Accordingly, it was decided that the next meeting of IMC will be held on 13.3.2014 at 11 :30 AM to consider all pending cases. 5
