6 Phases of wound healing Hydration Response Technology 7 Heavily exuding Superficial Deep Highly to moderately exuding Superficial Deep Moderately to low exuding Superficial Deep HRT Performance with no compromises Hydration Response Technology (HRT) is the design concept we use to develop and manufacture state-of-the-art wound care products at. Cleaning phase Infection Primary dressing Secondary dressing Necrosis * In conjunction with a suitable primary dressing Fibrin sachet EXTRA; sachet XL sachet EXTRA* sachet sachet * sachet S; sachet XL; sachet border sachet S*; sachet border* sachet sachet * sana* sana * Our aim is to make products that deliver maximum performance, using as few components as possible and only hypoallergenic materials. One of the advantages of using modern mechanical manufacturing techniques is that we can dispense with the use of glues, binders and adhesives. This enables us to develop highly biocompatible wound dressings for demanding applications, e. g. for patients who are susceptible to skin sensitisation. Hydrokinetic fibres are a key element in implementing this design concept in our products. These fibres form a matrix characterised by a specific combination of materials, including their proportions, density and mass. The production process involves binding together selected cellulose fibres (A) and gel-forming polymers (B) following a special formula. The expansion border, which enables wide contact with the wound region, even at high saturation rates, also plays an important role in the design concept. The soft, flexible polypropylene envelope is ultrasonically sealed and can therefore be manufactured without the use of binders or adhesives. It has a high liquid penetration rate and can be removed without leaving any residue. It also has a high tear strength, even when saturated, and a high moisture vapour transmission rate (MVTR).
