Before the Fair Registrations and Payment All registrations will be made online through the UWA CareerHub (http://uwa.careerhub.com.au/employers/form.aspx?id=188054). Organisations will need to be registered on CareerHub to access the Registration form and make payment for the event. Full payment is required on registration for the event either via credit card on shopping cart or via tax invoice. Marquee Booths Two exhibition stand types are available. Any cancellations made prior to the 6 th February, 2015 will receive a 90% refund. We regret that exhibitors cancelling after this date will forfeit their entire fee for the reserved booth space. All cancellations must be made in writing to Ryan Whiddett at ryan.whiddett@uwa.edu.au. If representatives from your organisation do not attend the Fair, your entire registration fee will be forfeited. Equipment Exhibitors are encouraged to bring their own free standing displays. Whilst every care will be taken, the UWA Careers Centre assumes no responsibility for the safekeeping of the equipment you bring. Heavy Equipment: Due to OSH regulations, please indicate to the UWA Careers Centre the weight of items at time of delivery. 3
Power Supply Please note that power supply is available to exhibitors on request. Your request must be made during registration in the relevant form section. WiFi Access Please note that there is WiFi Access on Oak Lawn available to exhibitors. Your request must be made during registration in the relevant form section. Promotional Materials Courier Details Deliveries of bulk literature supplies, portable exhibition stands, and any promotional material can be delivered/couriered to your stand on Oak Lawn from 7:30am on March 4 - Careers Fair Day. *Please also ensure that arrangements are made to collect materials before 3:30pm on March 4 2015. Fair Day Location The University of Western Australia is located on Stirling Highway in Crawley, 5 minutes drive West of the Perth CBD. The Careers Fair will be held on the Oak Lawn and surrounding Guild Village located on Hackett Drive immediately adjacent to the Swan River and Matilda Bay. On Arrival A Registration Desk will be prominently located on the Oak Lawn. There will be signage placed around the area on the day. Please register on arrival (between 7:30am and 9:45am). A Careers Centre staff member will direct you to your stand after you register on the day. Car Parking and travelling to UWA The University of Western Australia has limited parking available on campus. Paid parking is available along Hackett Drive and Car Park 23 (corner of Mounts Bay Road and Hackett Drive). The UWA Careers Fair is unable to reserve bays and recommends exhibitors arrive by taxi where possible. The drop off point for Taxi arrivals is the UWA Guild Village, Hackett Entrance No. 1. The University of Western is serviced by multiple Transperth Bus Services with connections to surrounding suburbs and the Perth CBD. Bus services to UWA are frequent and full timetables can be accessed at www.transperth.wa.gov.au. Loading/Unloading If you have items to unload from your vehicle, you can do so at Car Park 3. A volunteer will be at the unloading area to assist you. Please refer to attached map. Refreshments/Lunch A lunch box and one coffee/tea/smoothie voucher will be provided for each of two representatives. Vouchers will be provided to you at arrival and lunch will be delivered by volunteers. Additional lunches will be available for purchase at $20 per person prior to the day via the shopping cart at time of registration. Cold bottled water will be available continuously throughout the day; please ask an event volunteer if you require. *If you have dietary requirements it is important that these are noted at time of registration. Rubbish Removal Please stack empty cardboard boxes and other rubbish neatly for easy removal at the end of the day. If you need rubbish cleared at any point during the Fair, please let a volunteer know. At the end of the Fair 4
Departure Please ensure that there are representatives at your booth for the duration of the Fair (10:00am to 2:00pm) as this is the length of time that is advertised to students. Please ensure all displays and promotional materials are removed before the end of the day as the venue will be packed down after the Fair. Any boxes must be flattened and then left neatly to be tidied up by Careers and Event staff following your departure.
