MEDIA KIT 2017 2018 Partner with us: the country s leading publication on autism, Asperger s syndrome and sensory issues. Autism is a puzzling disability that affects approximately 1 in 45 children (CDC, Dec. 2015). While the disability is widespread, reliable information about it is far less so. In November 1999, in response to the lack of quality information, the Autism Asperger s Digest (AAD) made its debut with positive, practical, and proactive articles written primarily nationally-recognized autism professionals. Dr. Temple Grandin, Dr. Jed Baker, Ellen Notbohm, Garret Mathews, Jennifer Cook O Toole, Joanne Lara, and Keri Bowers. The magazine addresses topics ranging from evidence-based methods to alternative and complementary therapies; biomedical, education and behavioral issues; and other topics relevant to the ASD and sensory communities. Warm, touching and personal stories and accounts of life with autism add heart and soul to the publication, the first and longest continuing-magazine in the field of autism Contact us:: Lyn Dunsavage Young at lyn.autismdigest@gmail.com 1 P a g e

At a glance: First national magazine devoted to autism and Asperger s syndrome First Autism magazine on Apple s Newsstand with over 70,000 downloads between App downloads, yearly subscriptions, year packages, and individual issues. A strong subscriber-based publication with a paid circulation of 3,000 and more than 15,000 readers. Over 36,000 website page views per month on AutismDigest.com and FHautism.com, with approximately 80% unique visitors. A substantial percentage of the AADigest columnists are also authoritative national and international speakers at conferences. Published quarterly (February, May, August, November) in high-quality, four-color print format. Winner of National Parenting Publications Award (NAPPA), Mom s Choice Awards Gold Recipient, and Award for Publication Excellence. Founded by Future Horizons, Inc. the first niche book publisher in the world, now in its 18 th year, with Paul Jonathan Young Ph.D., P.E., as its editor and Lyn Dunsavage Young worked with the publication 13 years as its advertising director, and a recipient of several prestigious writing awards as an author. 2 P a g e

The benefits of advertising with us: Advertising in the Autism Asperger s Digest guarantees that you will reach thousands of highly targeted subscribers, ones who live with and experience autism each day of their lives. Because advertising space in each issue is restricted to those products and services directly related to this population, your message won t be lost in the sea of advertising noise. Our goal is to connect members of the ASD community with quality products and services. By giving our advertisers reasonable rates and a simple rate structure, we help them advertise not just once, but repeatedly, and reach not only our subscribers, but also thousands of additional consumers through our free Multimedia Platform. Our professional staff will be available throughout the life of our advertising partnership to assist you with placements and any questions you may have. We are friendly, and knowledgeable staff. With multiple ad placements, you also receive a variety of free value-added marketing services. These include digital ad placements, complimentary copies of our printed issues, conference exposure and more. Included Free with your print ad buy. Magazines have long been known as the most influential of all media, and now, reliable third-party research proves that they are also the best place to drive sales. Nielsen Catalina Solutions analyzed 1400 campaigns across measured media types and results show magazines yield the HIGHEST Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), with an average return of $3.94 for every dollar spent on advertising. 4 P a g e
