Wellness Services At Jefferson Center, we recognize the link between emotional and physical well-being. Our wellness services offer both conventional and holistic alternatives that build on your unique strengths and interests, and help improve your total health mind and body! TAKE A CLASS Each quarter, we offer a variety of rotating wellness classes to meet your needs. Examples of the topics covered are: Mental health: treating symptoms of anxiety, depression and focusing on stress management Physical health: improving eating habits and getting more active Self-improvement: building confidence, learning about self-compassion and speaking up for yourself CONSULT A COACH Our health coaching program can help you improve your overall wellness in 12 convenient sessions. Your coach will meet with you in person and by phone to create a personalized plan tailored to you and your family s lifestyle. Health goals may include managing blood pressure, proper diet/nutrition, exercising regularly, reducing or quitting tobacco use and managing stress levels. EAT RIGHT A registered dietician is available to provide you with specific nutrition guidance. The dietician can help you achieve or maintain a healthy weight, eat healthy while managing chronic conditions, and enjoy the benefits of making healthy eating a part of your treatment plan. QUIT TOBACCO Quitting smoking and other tobacco/nicotine products can have many benefits both physically and mentally. Jefferson Center has certified Tobacco Treatment Peer Specialist Coaches who work with you to overcome what s stopping you, develop a plan and live a healthier, more enjoyable life. We know that quitting is tough, but with help, it is possible.

There will be positive support, safe low-impact aerobics, muscle-strengthening moves, music and fun!
