Mind Media Awards 2014 Be a sponsor. Help tell the real story. Monday 17 November 2014 BFI Southbank, London mind.org.uk/awards
We re Mind, the mental health charity for England and Wales. We re here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support. We believe the most powerful way to challenge the prejudice that people with mental health problems face is to get the real story across. That s why we hold the Mind Media Awards, which recognise and celebrate the best portrayals and reporting of mental health issues across TV, radio, print and online. Be a sponsor of the Mind Media Awards. Help tell the real story about mental health. The media, in all its glorious incarnations, has enormous power to influence people s perceptions of mental health, not least in being able to challenge the stigma that sadly still surrounds it. The Mind Media Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate those actors, writers, programme makers, journalists and bloggers who are helping to dispel the myths around mental health and reduce discrimination.
