What is leadership? Leadership is a way of influencing people beyond routine compliance with directions and orders. Leadership is an act that causes others to act or respond in a shared direction and bring about positive changes. Leadership is the key dynamic force that motivates and coordinates an organization to accomplish its objectives. Leadership is the ability to inspire confidence and support among the people who are needed to attain organizational goals.
Are leaders born or are leaders made? We must learn through the development of characteristics. When do we start becoming leaders? Childhood We become exposed to values and traits of leadership. We will be influenced by considering what purpose or values may lies beyond our personal advancement or goals. This evolution continues as adults.
