Your Executive Branch President Klaus Mortensen Past President Chris Simmonds 1 st Vice President John Cannon 2 nd Vice President Helen Cannon Secretary Noella Fraser Treasurer Noella Fraser (Acting) Sgt at Arms Thomas Moffett Building & Maintenance Bruce Mills Service Officer Ernestine Crawford Sports Officer Gary Nystrom Executive Officer Robert Owen Committee Chairs Remembrance Day Michael Winter Membership Jerry Mott Ways & Means Tom Woods Poppy Campaign Alfie Luke Public Relations Dennis Parker Entertainment TBD President Report The new executive, has settled into their positions and after two meetings, are working to move the Legion forward. We have some challenges to overcome during the next year. For instance, the carpet in the main lounge is at the end of its useful life. The speakers for the main stage are beyond salvage and must be replaced if we expect to book bands for entertainment. We have replaced the speakers for the PA system, and we should look at the PA amplifier and background music system. Currently we are investigating acquiring an ATM machine to dispense cash and alleviating the bartenders workload. We are also working on changing our liquor license from a Liquor Primary Club to a Liquor Primary. More details at our next General Meeting. I thank all the volunteers who renovated the ladies toilet and installed the new dishwasher in the upstairs kitchen. Without their unpaid work we would have difficulty in improving the branch. Thank you, each one of you, for donating your time and effort. It is very much appreciated by the Executive and the members at large. We have found a member who is willing to take on the job of Secretary and we hope to have him elected during our next General Meeting. We also have a new Sgt. at Arms who has taken over as of 1 September. ~Comrade Klaus Mortensen Branch #92 President
