Our vision is to improve the choice, transparency and wellbeing of the healthcare of our fellow New Zealanders. Together with nib NZ, we think it is essential that consumers know what their best choices are, how much things will cost, who they should see and to share their experiences, so that others can benefit when they need to make those choices. Whitecoat and nib NZ want people empowered with this information when they need it, to help them make more informed choices about their healthcare. 2

Whitecoat in AU Whitecoat is Australia s premier online healthcare platform - helping patients locate and book healthcare practitioners online based on location and reviews. Home to over 220,000 trusted provider listings, tens of thousands of Australians use Whitecoat and our network every week, making us the first stop in the Australian online healthcare journey. Considered Australia s breakthrough digital healthcare platform, Whitecoat was formed in 2013 by nib and joined in 2017 by Bupa and HBF to remove the hard work from healthcare and enable everyday Australians to make the best choices when it comes to their health. +50,000 Registered healthcare practitioners who have claimed their profile 220,000 Healthcare practitioners listed on Whitecoat 300,000 Unique visitors to the Whitecoat site each month 3

What does this mean for patients? At Whitecoat, patients can locate and book trusted healthcare practitioners online based on location and reviews. We want to make searching, booking and reviewing healthcare appointments easier than ever before. Benefits for patients using Whitecoat NZ Find healthcare practitioners Patients will be able to search from our directory of providers in New Zealand, finding practitioners close to them, reading trusted reviews and learning more information. Book online appointments (Q4 2018) Coming later this year, patients will be able to book appointments with practitioners directly through the Whitecoat NZ site. Read and leave reviews We ask patients four standardised questions based on worldwide guidelines focused on appointment time, listening skills, treatment explanations and likelihood to recommend. Healthy reading (Q4 2018) Patients will be able to access the latest health news, updates and blog articles from our team and from practitioners. 4

What does this mean for practitioners? The relationship we have with practitioners is of great importance to us. We want to empower practitioners through connecting them with patients who are searching for their treatment, creating a profitable and productive experience for both practitioners and practices. Benefits for practitioners using Whitecoat NZ Receive and reply to reviews All patient responses are anonymous and strictly moderated by the Whitecoat team in accordance with industry guidelines. You can reply, or request moderation. Increase your online presence Your Whitecoat profile will help patients find you more easily, either through the Whitecoat site or looking for you on search engines, you ll be more likely to be found. Manage your profile Using the Whitecoat Provider Portal you can manage your profile by adding your profile photo, opening hours, biography, payment options, facilities and much more. Book online appointments (Q4 2018) Coming later this year, you ll be able to take bookings through Whitecoat, either via our solution, or integrating any online solution you already use. 5
