Volume 40, #3 March, 2008 President s Message As I sit writing this letter, it is 42 degrees outside and I am getting the itch to take a Model A out and drive it. Then the TV set said snow is coming in. I then realize that winter is still here. Our Tour committee has been busy working on several tours both short and long for us to take. They will have some definite plans for us by next month. If you have any ideas or know of any good places to go please call David Beckman. We still need helpers for clean up after the ENWICC spring swap meet in Lincoln at the fair grounds on the 9 th, this is not hard work, if you can come please put your name on the sign up sheet at the next general meeting, or call myself or Don Noodell and let us know that you will be there. We need five people working to share in proceeds from the swap meet. The next event will be on the 15 th of March at the Habitat for Humanity in Council Bluffs. This will start at 7:00pm. It will be a potluck dinner combined with a pie sale and Bunco. Everyone please bring a main dish, a dessert dish and a pie to raffle off. The club will furnish plates, silverware, and drinks. This is always a fun time, be sure and put your name on the sign up sheet, so we know how many to plan for. (You can dress up if your feeling a little IRISH.) Our Eat out this month will be at Piccolo Pete s on South 20 th in Omaha, sign up and come for the great food. Daylight savings time starts this year on the 9 th just in case you forgot. See you at the meeting. Lloyd I was asked to remind everyone the purpose for the sign up sheets that we have at the meetings. They help us to know how many people to expect at each event. And if that event would have to be cancelled, then we will be able to know whom to call and inform you what is going on so that you don t show up and there isn t anybody there. If you cannot come to a meeting and want to attend an event that we have told you about, then please call the contact person for that event or call your trusty president and let him know that you would like to come. THANK YOU 1
