Peer Supporters Call for volunteers Love to have that extra bit to put on your resume? Here s your chance! We are looking for Peer Supporters as part of our International Student Peer Support Program which is there to assist our new international students each semester into settling in to life at the Gippsland Campus and Australia. We will be providing training (you can t be a Peer Supporter without undertaking this training) before the end of the exam period to have you ready for our new students arriving in Semester 2. Final Semester Program Tuesday 3 rd June We will be holding our Final Semester program for international students on Tuesday 3 rd June, this includes a Careers Session Dress to Impress and a celebration morning tea in the Student Union Lounge. Student Connect will be providing a bus to take students down to the match happening on Sunday 20 th July - Western Bulldogs vs. Essendon at Etihad Stadium. ISA Events for May FREE Footy Trip GLoBALL is a fantastic joint initiative run by the Essendon Football Club, Cricket Victoria and Netball Victoria. With support from the state government, this program uses sport to introduce international students to Aussie culture. GLoBALL offers students the opportunity to make new friends, connect with sporting clubs and community sporting activities and to be actively involved in one of Australia s favourite and much loved past times. The GLoBALL program has kindly given us a limited number of free tickets to an AFL game. 20 th July @ 7:40pm Essendon vs Western Bulldogs Etihad Stadium, Docklands Victoria To secure yourself a ticket to the game you will need to log on to the GLoBALL website http://globall.com.au/ and click on the REGISTER NOW button.
