A training session for the new officers was held at the Hampton Inn in Farmingville on May 16. LCI is offering a series of informative webinars as per details on Page 3. Our district was honored to have International President Lion Joe Preston at the Fall Conference in last November. Thanks to the arrangements coordinated by our District Governor Lion Skip Meinhold, it was an exciting evening. A message from our International President on ending this year. Lions have impacted more than 30 million people through the Centennial Service Challenge. To help reach our goal of helping 100 million people, I d like you to encourage your clubs to host at least one more service project by the end of your term. Service is a great a great way for clubs to strengthen their communities, find new members and earn a Centennial Banner Patch by reporting their Centennial projects through MyLCI. Let s work together to build our legacy of service, and a better world for all.
