Dr. Katherine P. Rutherford, MD Dr. Rutherford was raised near Burlington, VT. Following medical school at the University of Massachusetts, she combined her interests in athletics and youth by completing training in both Sports Medicine and Pediatrics at Maine Medical Center. She and her husband have two young children. He received his training from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Matt has been a licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Maine since 2007. Prior to practicing in Maine, Matt was licensed in Georgia for three years he specialized in Family Medicine. Anthony Simpson, Pa-C Tony joined Maine Orthopaedic Center in February of 2007. He received his training from University of New England in Biddeford. He had been a licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Maine since 1999. Bill Simpson, Pa-C Bill joined MaineOrtho in September 2012. He earned his physician assistant degree from the University of New England in Portland in 2004.
