Play Entertainer Get everyone together for a fabulous time Host a movie or Finale viewing night serving delicious popcorn or pamper your friends with a Pamper girls night in. why what you re about to do is so very very important! Thanks to your generosity, compassion and support, KidsXpress will be able to inspire more vulnerable children to thrive! KidsXpress launched a world first approach to early intervention trauma therapy uniquely combining modalities of expressive therapy including music, art, drama, dance and play therapy. Through this innovative program KidsXpress supports children that are living with the impacts of trauma such as grief, loss, neglect, and physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Over 10 years KidsXpress has grown to support more than 2500 vulnerable children and become a leader in the field of expresive therapy. KidsXpress mission is to transform the lives of children impacted by trauma. We hope to create generational change by inspiring children to thrive and, through sharing our knowledge of trauma-informed care to support families, schools and communities to better manage and minimise the impact of childhood trauma. thank you! don t be shy! Spread the word and shout it from the roof tops! The more people that know about your event the more money you can raise! You could send out an email like this: Subject line: I ve got an invitation with your name on it! Hello friends and family The drinks are on ice, the kebabs are marinating, the snags are on the grill & the salads are prepped & ready! Who s up for a BBQ? This Sunday at my place! Well it s not my birthday, it s not Christmas so what s the occasion? Well you don t need a good reason to catch up with great mates but this time I ve got one. KidsXpress is all about helping vulnerable children impacted by trauma to learn how to use their own creativity and imagination as tools to express their feelings, learn about themselves and support their mental health and wellbeing. I m expressing my support for these kids by hosting a bbq and aiming to raise $1000 (but more is totally fine!). Every dollar will be donated to this amazing organisation, helping to fund the paint, crayons, glitter, clay and cloth which helps a scared, angry or heartbroken child to describe and process the pain they ve been experiencing. So here s the deal. If you can donate the price of your Friday night beers or what you d expect to pay on a night out, together we ll reach that target in no time! Please dig deep to transform the lives of vulnerable children today! You can bring money on the night or donate to my fundraising page. Thank you and hope to see you there! *Change the grey areas with details of your event If you re a bit more old-school you can print out one of our hard copy posters and fill out the details to stick up around the office. Or get a bit more personal and print off our invites to hand out personal invitations
