FINAL ASSAY CONCENTRATION: In a 1.50 ml reaction mix, the final concentrations are 20 mm Tris, 0.57 mm ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, 5 mm magnesium chloride, 3 mm adenosine 5'-triphosphate, 133 mm sodium chloride and 3 mm potassium chloride, 0.03-0.06 unit adenosine 5'-triphosphatase and 1 mm ouabain (when present).
