THE L1 TEMPERAMENT TYPE Leopards are independent, quiet lone rangers. They are thorough and task-focused and work at own pace. They want clearly defined tasks, to the point information and they need psychological space. Leopards have a strong need to do things right. They are the kind of people who actually read instruction manuals. They are great at providing quality control in any situation that demands accuracy, such as accounting or engineering. Because consistency and high standards are too important to Leopards, they are often frustrated by those who do not share these same characteristics. Their strong need for maintaining high (and sometimes unrealistic) standards can short-circuit their ability to express warmth in a relationship. Leopards are sometimes perceived by others as negative due to their realistic nature.
