This one day lecture and laboratory experience highlights the basics of salivary endoscopy indications, contra-indications, and complications. OBJECTIVES At the conclusion of the course, participants should be able to: -Recognize new concepts in sialolithiasis. -Recognize the role of salivary endoscopy in patients with salivary swelling. -Be capable of picking ideal candidates for this technique. WHO SHOULD ATTEND This meeting has been designed for professionals interested in treatment of diseases of the salivary apparatus. We encourage attendance by physicians and CME oral surgeons. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine designates this education activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Replacements are the responsibility of the cancelled party. If no replacement is found, no refund will be made. Any cancellations received after the September 16, 2010 deadline will not be refunded.
