Rotary Club of CLEVELAND District 9630 Australia Full Membership Your opportunity to help build better communities

CLEVE The Rotary Club of Cleveland was chartered in 1962 by Rotary International, and has served the Redland s community for 50 years with activities such as: Supporting Redland s youth through driver awareness programmes, youth leadership courses, summer science schools, mentoring programmes, and scholarship grants. The Club has formed an Interact Club to encourage youth to be more aware of the needs of the local and international communities and follow the path of service to others. Providing residential facilities for the local hospital for families of patients. Supporting the development of the Redlands Museum and the establishment of Meals on Wheels to better serve the needs of the frail and housebound in the Redlands.

Providing improved park and recreation facilities Supporting local not for profit organisations and individuals, financially and with volunteer labour Currently the Club is supporting the community of Murphy s Creek in the Lockyer Valley west of Brisbane at it rebuilds itself after the devastating floods of January 2011. Nationally, through Australian Rotary Health Research Foundation, the Club supports Interplast, which provides surgical and allied health services in the Asian-Pacific region, and many other Rotary initiatives. The Rotary Club of Cleveland has also served the international community. It participates financially in the End Polio Now Campaign that will see the crippling and debilitating effects of this disease wiped from the face of the earth. The Club provided funding for Shelter Boxes that were sent by Rotary International to assist with the temporary housing of thousands of displaced people following the disastrous earthquakes in Haiti. With the skills, knowledge and passion of its members, the Rotary Club of Cleveland has contributed greatly to the local and wider community. LAND
