EXPANDING THE REACH OF PRECISION MEDICINE Dear Doctor, Greetings of the day! It gives me immense pleasure to have the honor of this correspondence. NCI-India has been envisaged by the Government of India as an Institute of National importance which will look after cancer research and formulation of modern therapy for cancer patients in India. This state of the art translational cancer research centre will have more than 700 beds and more than 3000 employees working in a campus of 50 acres. The NCI will start functioning in September, 2018. We have started collaboration with national and international institutes of excellence for promoting translational and clinical research in different India centric cancers. We have also started educational series on updates in management of different cancers as an initiative of NCI, India. After successful completion of Updates in management of Breast Cancer, Gynecological Cancer, Head & Neck Cancer, Gall Bladder Cancer and Lung Cancer, we are organising "Best of American Society of th th Clinical Oncology (ASCO) as a part of NCI, India educational series on 28-29 July 2018 at Hotel Ashoka, Delhi, presented by Indian Society of Clinical Oncology. Best of ASCO in Delhi, India will be organised in partnership with Institutions/ Hospitals delivering cancer care in Delhi/NCR. This will be an unique opportunity to learn from best of research presented in Annual Conference of American Society of Clinical Oncology. We will try to discuss more on topics important for India centric cancers and there will be a Merit Award for abstracts from South Asia presented in annual conference of ASCO. We have got con rmation from oncologists working in South Asian Countries and this will help us to discuss more about common cancer issues and close collaborations to deal with such problems. Considering the importance of this topic, Best of ASCO Delhi team has decided to have a session on cancer survivorship which will help cancer patients to optimize quality of life issues post treatment.
