The Endocrine System The endocrine system is the collection of glands that produce hormones that regulate: metabolism growth and development tissue function sexual function Reproduction Sleep Mood Organ regulation

Common Diseases of the Endocrine System Hypothyroidism Hyperthyroidism Osteoporosis Type 1 diabetes Type 2 diabetes Adrenal insufficiency Cushing s disease

Stress and Hormones Stress triggers the release of hormones that generate arousal and anxiety elevation of the chemical stress pathway (glucocorticoids) tends to be associated with depression elevation of the electrical stress pathway (epinephrine) more frequently is correlated with anxiety. Chronic stress suppresses the immune system.

HPA Axis There is feedback system between hypothalamus, pituitary & adrenal glands High, prolonged stress stimulates corticosteroid releasing hormone (CRH), increases cortisol prod. in adrenal Elevated cortisol inhibits thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), lowers thyroid function Repeated stress can atrophy hippocampus in brain, leading to memory loss

The Misdiagnosed Epidemic At least 5 10% of all Americans over 12 YO have thyroid imbalances. These are usually treated directly which will rarely provide long term solution Most weak thyroid is due to weakened adrenal function. That puts the body into catabolism, and thyroid slows down to minimize breakdown of body Most Americans are deficient in iodine, which is needed to produce thyroid hormone. Iodine can be usurped by fluorine, chlorine and bromine (water?) Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) from the pituitary is suppressed when chronic stress affects adrenals to keep cortisol levels abnormally high

Symptoms of Hypo-Thyroid Fatigue Increased sensitivity to cold Constipation Dry skin Unexplained weight gain Puffy face Impaired memory Muscle weakness Elevated blood cholesterol level Muscle aches, tenderness and stiffness Pain, stiffness or swelling in your joints Heavier than normal or irregular menstrual periods Thinning hair Slowed heart rate Depression

Symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue Fatigue Can t fall asleep (excess cortisol Can t stay asleep (deficient cortisol) Crave salt Tendency toward allergies Get stressed out easily Asthma harder to breathe in Dizziness standing up Immune system weakness Eating relieves fatigue Blurred vision Needs coffee or tobacco to get started & get through day Varicose veins Hemmorhoids Ulcers Feel bloated Low sex drive

Symptoms of Low DHEA Sustained stress > excess cortisol production > suppressed DHEA Can lead to or exacerbate: Fibromyalgia Lupus RA Crohn s disease Ulcerative colitis Some forms of cancer Multiple sclerosis Hypothyroid

Insomnia and the Adrenals Healthy adrenals produces enough, but not too much cortisol which regulates blood sugar levels. Different forms of insomnia are often associated with these hormonal imbalances: Initial stress > too much cortisol. Hard to fall asleep, on overdrive. Adrenal fatigue > lowered cortisol. Easy to fall asleep but wake up middle up night as adrenal produces adrenaline to try to keep blood sugar levels up Advanced adrenal fatigue. Not enough cortisol in early AM to wake up person craves cup of coffee to be able to get started and more cups to make it through the day.

Treating the Root of Adrenal Thyroid Disorders When you study the literature is is clear that various forms of trauma and chronic stress are at the root. What is at the root of chronic stress and heightened sensitivity to trauma? Feelings of disconnection and disempowerment not in control of one s own destiny Water Fire imbalance. Fear-based life experience, not feeling nurturing connection to Spirit Imbalances of Will individuals pushing too hard without feeling enough internal and external support, mind predominates over heart

Vibrational Therapies for Adrenal & Thyroid Imbalances Mu-Shu technique to balance Yin-Yang of Organs PNE Balancing to address Root causes of prolonged stress, helping the individual claim their power to transform fear into greater ease and strength Frequency-Specific Microcurrent targeting these glands Special effect points to balance hormonal function, including 8 Extraordinary Vessels Soul Healing the deepest level of causation

The Pineal Gland The pineal converts environmental light, temperature and magnetic fieldsto chemical and electrical signaling in our bodies Regulates sleep patterns A key area of the spirit-mind-body connection Meditation and uplifted states of consciousness create positive health effects through the pineal hormonal connection

Manaka Alarm (Mu) Points

Back-Shu Points

Color Challenge Testing 1) Use testing to determine Organs, pain points or chakras that are imbalanced. These will cause muscle test to go weak when patient touches test point. 2) Place color filters on skin next to test point one at a time while patient continues to touch point. Test to see if muscle gets stronger. 3) Test filters as needed until you find one with strongest effect at making weak test point get rock solid. That is the color most indicated for treatment.

Mu-Shu for Adrenals & Thyroid Challenge test colors against Kidney and other Mu Points. Treat Kidney Mu-Shu with one other secondary imbalanced Organ using complementary color selection when indicated. Thyroid imbalances may be expressed through Liver, Spleen, Heart or other Organs. Think in terms of TCM patterns May combine with acupuncture on Extraordinary Vessels, auricular therapy or other Master points.

Organ / Hormonal Patterns Endocrine glands were not specified in TCM, but are included in description of diagnostic patterns. Microlight therapy can be used to balance Organ function, thereby helping balance hormonal function

Organ / Hormonal Patterns Combining these methods is highly beneficial: Mu-Shu technique using Organ related frequency and color Extraordinary vessel master points with needles or polarized microcurrent Whole body treatment using appropriate microcurrent frequencies Acupuncture

Example: Hypothyroid / Liver Blood Deficiency Symptoms: Blurred vision, floaters Scanty menstruation Pale face and lips, dizziness Muscular weakness, muscle cramps Pale or brittle nails Fatigue, feel dull

Example: Hypothyroid / Liver Blood Deficiency Suggested Treatment: Mu-Shu on Liver Test for Red, Magenta, Lemon, Purple Mu-Shu on Spleen Test for Violet, Red, Magenta Probe Hz: 103 (blood), 98 (thyroid), 9 (pancreas) Whole body Hz with pads (4 Gates)

Color Therapy: The Yin and Yang of Adrenal & Thyroid treatment: For low functioning thyroid (hypothyroid): Use Orange light For over-functioning thyroid (hyperthyroid): Use Indigo light For low functioning adrenal: Use Magenta, Red or Scarlet light For over-functioning adrenal: Use Purple or Indigo light

FST Sequence Example: Endocrine Microcurrent Pads: Ch.A: LI-4 Ch.B: Liv-3 Intensity ~ 50-100uA 94, 321, 9, 49 / 310 (reboot & vitalize whole NS) 94, 321, 9, 49 / 200 ( reboot & vitalize solar plexus) 6.8 / 38 (constitutional factors) 81 / 49 (increase secretion, vitalize) 35 / 102 (balance energy centers) 3-5 minutes per frequency 94: concussion, trauma, medulla 321: Reboot, blood dyscrasia 9: Pancreas, allergy 310: Anterior Pituitary

Psycho-Neuro-Endocrine (PNE) Balancing For Hormonal Balancing

Front And Rear PNE Centers Front Center connects with environment and other people through function, rear Center gives power and vitality to function

Chakras and Endocrine Glands Each chakra influences a specific endocrine gland, and all of them though the living matrix A vital part of spirit-mind-body connection Help clear psyche and emotions Include color therapy on 1 2 chakras with hormonal balancing treatments Use with visualizations, toning and intuitive counseling

Restoring healthy function of PNE centers through well-chosen complementary colors, microcurrent and essential oils is similar to rebooting a computer with a faulty program or jump-starting a low battery: It can give the patient the energy, clarity and open space in consciousness to make new life-affirming choices. It is actually the patient s new choices that create long-term healing.
