December 2, 2016 Ricardo Mitriani, DDS "Treatment Planning for Dentogingival Esthetics" One of the biggest challenges in contemporary dentistry is facilitating effective communication among the various specialties. This challenge is magnified by the patient s desire for estheticallydriven treatment options. A significant percentage of contemporary interdisciplinary therapy consists of treatment in which either lost tissue (hard or soft) is added or redundant tissue is removed for a dentogingival correction. To obtain consistent and predictable results, surgeons, restorative dentists, orthodontists, and dental technicians should work closely together as a team. This presentation will examine effective communication tools among the various specialists when considering conventional restorative dentistry and implantsupported restorations. January 20, 2017 John O Connor, PCC NLP Training for Professional Development This course will focus on core communication skills and leadership strategies. The goal is to guide participants in furthering both business and personal communication to the next level. In this interactive NLP training you will learn: How to create more connection, influence and ease with yourself, your team and patients Learn the essential ingredient for how to build and maintain rapport Learn how to uncover the unconscious triggers driving behavior and decision making How to cultivate authentic charisma Quantum coherence training to increase your mental flexibility and dexterity How to motivate teams over time to stay on purpose and get things done Develop and clear vision and roadmap for your business over the next 12 months March 1, 2017 Multiple Case Presentation Evening Seminar "Comprenhensive Treatment Planning Seminar" Dinner will be served followed by a lively two hour discussion of treatment planning. Five to ten participants will present cases to be treatment planned or show already completed cases. This will be followed by a spirited discussion of the therapeutic alternatives that exist an excellent way to exchange ideas and to expand your knowledge base. This forum will also serve as a learning crucible for the difficult cases. Please note that you do not have to present cases to participate. March 7, 2017 Charles Loretto, BBA Evening Seminar Considerations to Analyze when Contemplating Partnerships Learning Objectives: Learn the stepbystep process that produces successful, equitable partnerships Determine if it makes financial sense to buy in as an associate Discover how much income you will have to give up when you bring in a partner Pinpoint when to acquire a valuation of the business and what to expect Learn how to split the money when procedures and collections amounts differ among providers

March 31, 2017 Jeffrey Rouse, DDS Airway and Sleep Prosthodontics An Introduction to the Future of Restorative Dentistry April 28, 2017 This unique presentation will focus on preventing disease rather than restoring morphology. Restoration of the teeth rarely fixes the core cause of the problem. A growing body of research is beginning to link nocturnal airway issues in adults and children to tooth wear, myofacial pain, craniofacial deficits, periodontal disease and malocclusion. Attendees should learn: To differentiate between occlusal philosophy and airway reality The three categories of sleep disturbance and their unique signs and symptoms To identify and resolve pediatric airway alteration in craniofacial development To recognize the Bruxism Triad patient during a dental examination Treatment alternatives to resolve bruxism and establish airway Colin Richman, DMD Minimizing Esthetic and Functional Risk through pre Orthodontic Periodontal Augmentation and Restorative Periodontal Augmentation Handson Treatment planning for the Entire Dental Team Dr Richman, originally from South Africa is a practicing periodontist in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the leading periodontal authority on combined periodontal and orthodontic management of complex orthodontic cases, having done more surgically facilitated orthodontic treatment than any periodontist in the United States. He will present on two different but related relevant subjects. The morning presentation will focus on Minimizing Esthetic and Functional Risk through POPA (pre Orthodontic Periodontal Augmentation) And PREPA (pre Restorative Periodontal Augmentation). These innovative dental procedures, combining regenerative periodontal therapy with orthodontic treatment, enable the dentist to minimize potential iatrogenic risk factors associated with orthodontic therapy. Favorably positioned teeth, plus an enhanced mucogingival complex, facilitates ideal and predictable esthetics and function. The afternoon presentation is entitled Interactive Handson Treatment planning for the Entire Dental Team. Dentists and will be provided with comprehensive records of a patient presenting with complex dental problems. The class will be divided into groups of 58 dentists with each group establishing a treatment plan utilizing various scenarios. These sessions will be quite thought provoking. Each office will be allowed to bring one dental hygienist to the meeting. It will be a great day. Instruction ends in the schoolroom, but education ends only with life. Frederick W. Robertson
