L Anomalies of Central Nervous System Eligible/NonEligible and/or Description of DSCC Diagnoses Any specific diagnosis alone (except cystic fibrosis and hemophilia) is not eligible for DSCC unless there are associated impairments in the following categories: Orthopedic, nervous system, cardiovascular, external body, hearing, organic speech disorders, inborn errors of metabolism leading to severe neurological, mental and physical deterioration, eye and urinary system. J Spina Bifida/Myelomeningocele Spina Bifida with Hydrocephaly Encephalocele Hydroencephalapathy Microencephaly Congenital Hydrocephalus Reduction deformities of brain (Absence, A genesis, Agyria, Aplasia, Aminecephaly, Holoprosencephaly, Hypop lasia, Lissencephaly, Microgyria) Schizencephaly Anomalies of the Spinal Cord Not None of these would be DSCC eligible on their own; treatable motor/orthopedic impairments or seizures could be DSCC eligible for these deformities. Only treatable motor/orthopedic impairments are potentially DSCC eligible. Birthweight Birth weight: <looo gm. Not DSCC eligible by itself. Chromosomal Disorders (most common, not to be used as an exclusive list)

Craniofacial, limb deformities, cardiac are Cardiac impairments would be Not typically DSCC eligible unless causing cardiac, hypospadias or other DSCC eligible conditions. Not ~ Not usually DSCC eligible unless causing cardiac impairments or strabismus. Seizures, scoliosis and strabismus would be DSCC eligible, if present, for either syndrome. Seizures, scoliosis and strabismus would be DSCC eligible, if present, for either syndrome. Congenital Infections Toxoplasmosis Rubella Cytomegalovirus Herpes Simplex with CNS involvement Only treatable chronic motor/orthopedic, hearing loss and eye impairments (defects of eyeball or eye muscle) are DSCC eligible for these congenital infections. r Neonatal Meningitis Eligible EI Diagnoses Neonatal Meningitis Only treatable chronic motor/orthopedic, hearing loss and eye impairments (defects of eyeball or eye muscle) are DSCC eligible for these congenital infections. Cerebral Palsy Cerebral Palsy Craniofacial Anomalies (Major) Craniofacial Anomalies (Major) DSCC eligible (motor and neuro impairments)

Not DSCC eligible by itself but seizures, renal impairments, cardiac impairments are Only treatable motor/orthopedic impairments or seizures are Only treatable motor/orthopedic impairments are Acute seizures are not Potentially DSCC eligible if not cancerous.
