Safety Planning Identify High Risk Situations/Triggers (return to substance use, financial stress, etc.) Steps the client can take to decrease chance of future domestic assault (abstain, time outs, etc) Identify support people the client can talk to/stay with during a difficult time or relapse 19 Summary and Discussion Addictions treatment does not to replace Family Violence treatment and vice versa.
