Kishwaukee Chronicle SEPTEMBER 8, 2017 Note from the Editor. We are now taking bids for snow removal at the club house. Contact President John Geraci with your bid. Contact information at bottom of newsletter. Club members and families; please join us for the annual Founder's Shoot.on September 23 rd. It is a casual club shoot on the 3D course, open to all bows, classes and ages. At 1pm, we will have a bbq feast including pulled pork and bbq sausage. Please bring a salad, side or desert to pass. In order to buy/prepare enough meat, please rsvp with you and your family members attending as well as what you will be bringing so we don't load up on too much of something. Thanks and see you there! RSVP to anthonyskiroock@gmail.com Introduction Grab your gear and come out to the club for some practice to insure you are ready for your next shot of the lifetime. Share your sport and invite a new shooter or experienced shooter to accompany you. Fox Valley Archery (formally Buckstop Archery) has changed their name but not their location and contact number. Check them out a www.foxvalleyarchery.net or 847-844-3337 a 10% discount is still in effect for K.A. Members. Do you remember who introduced you to the sport of archery? Maybe you could be that person for your new shooting partner. No news is good news, but no news means a blank newsletter. Please send in your stories, pictures and ideas. It s your responsibility to get approval from a board member prior to performing the work and to write your hours down. All members with working memberships must have their hours completed between January 1st and December 31st of each calendar year. Club I.D. Remember to display your club I.D. card on your quiver or bow case. If you don t know someone ask them to see their card. This is a way to meet members you don t know or haven t met. This could become your next shooting or hunting partner. Pictures!! (Send in a picture of your buck or doe you shot this year or any year and we ll put it in the newsletter! Tell us about the deer; where you shot it; how it scored; etc. You can also send in other archery related pictures as well.) Congrats Zak Geraci on your 6 point buck. First deer harvest!! Taken on Illinois state land at 19 yards. Remember, this is your club and you have a right to card someone you don t know. NOTICE! Broadhead arrows are allowed only in the sandpits! No broadhead arrows are allowed in the indoor range
