NAPS is represented by it's 17 State Coordinators across the country. NAPS is publishing bi-annual Research Journal Indian Journal of Psychological Science ISSN-0976-9218 with 6.96 Impact Factor and listed with Thomson Reuters. The IPSC 2018 aims to bring eminent academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research outputs on the aspects of Psychology and Wellbeing. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Psychology and Well-being. About Panjab University The glorious traditions of Panjab University, since its inception in 1882 at Lahore, are a source of inspiration for the present generation of faculty members and students. The present campus at Chandigarh and about two hundred colleges make it unique. By virtue of its age, experience, achievements and philosophy, Panjab University is a university of national character and International stature, with faculty and students drawn from all over the country and abroad. With two Nobel Prize winners, Dr. Hargobind Khurana (Physiology) and Dr. Abdus Salam (Physics), and countless researchers. The Department of Psychology The Department of Psychology was originally started at Lahore in 1929. With the starting of the University at Chandigarh, the department was re-established in 1959. Since its inception at the Chandigarh campus, the faculty of the department has contributed immensely to the field of psychology. The department of psychology has a multidimensional image in terms of excellent research and teaching and has been a leader in the region. The faculty has attained international recognition and the alumni have excelled as professionals in different parts of the world. The balance between pure and applied research has given the department a rare profile. Major areas of research are clinical psychology, personality, guidance and counselling, sport psychology, organizational behavior, cognition, social psychology, behavioral economics, positive psychology and health psychology. The Department offers teaching and research programs for M.A.,Post MA Diplomas and Ph.D. levels.

The conference solicits contributions of abstracts, papers and posters that address themes and topics of the conference. Special Journal Issues NAPS 2018 has teamed up with the Special Issue of Indian Journal of Psychological Sciences (Impact Factor: 6.96). The committee will select full text papers. The submitted papers will have an opportunity to be considered for this Special Journal Issue. The final decision for paper selection will be made on the basis of peer review reports by the Reviewers and Editors jointly. Selected full-text papers will be published.
