Savesta Research and Development Herbal and neutriceutical products have become increasingly popular in recent years and companies are looking for options to develop products more efficiently. As an innovative contract research company we offer our clients the most up-to-date services in various areas. Identification of herbs and its application The proper authentication of herbal raw materials is critically important to the safety and efficacy of herbal medicines. We carry out Identification and authentication of botanicals, medicinal plants and raw herbs by taxonomy, morphology, macroscopic, microscopic, histo-chemical, chemical and chromatographic techniques. R & D Lab Process and technology development for extraction of herbal active compounds: We provide complete solution for technological development from lab level to industrial scale for herbal bioactive extraction. We carefully select solvent, time for the process and temperature at which extraction is to be carried out. So the process developed ensures extract with high content of biomarker in a time, energy and cost saving fashion. Development of the new formulation, application, process and technology: We develop the herbal extract/ bioactive on scientific basis taking into considerations the various aspects associated with it. Rotavapor Our formulation development capabilities include: Feasibility study Formulation composition Designing of the dosage form Process optimization Scale up

Manufacturing Facility: Our 50,000 square foot nutriceutical complex is designed keeping in mind the international standards and incorporates necessary measures to prevent cross contamination and safety aspects. Our ultra-modern manufacturing facility has dedicated aqueous and solvent extraction blocks and an installed capacity to manufacture 200 metric tonne of herbal extract per annum. The three storied dedicated spray dryer has a capacity of 200 litres per hour. Aqueous extraction block with Ion columns The facility has a series of resin columns which are very effective in isolation, purification or separation of active ingredients, impurities or unwanted materials, bitterness and pigments. These columns have a resin capacity of 50 gm - 250 gm in R&D, 50 litres in pilot scale with 1200 litres and 1600 litres for commercial production. For ingredients like pomegranate we use non-ionic hydrophobic cross-linked polymer adsorbent for removing non polar compounds. These resins are usually regenerated using alcohol or other water-miscible organic solvents. This allows us to screen undesirables and obtain extracts with ultra-high purity. Savesta manufacturing practices ensure superior quality of extracts with minimal levels of heavy metal and solvent residue. Validated production processes ensure batch to batch consistency. Clean eco-friendly and sophisticated environment, backed by highly dedicated production personnel enables us to produce high quality herbal extracts at a competitive price. Spray dryer Granulator

Quality Control: Savesta herbals is backed by well-trained scientific research team and fully equipped research laboratories. Our state-ofthe-art facilities include spacious general laboratories, clean rooms and radioisotope and microbiology labs. Sophisticated analytical testing equipment allows us to screen herbal materials for high levels of the desired plant compounds and screen-out undesirables like heavy metals and pesticides. We meet all customer specifications using the following testing methods with in-house and independent third party laboratories: Organoleptic, Microscopy, High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) High Performance Liquid Layer Chromatography (HPLC) Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) Ultra Violet/Visible Spectroscopy (UV/Vis) Gas Chromatography (GC) Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) and more.
