1. The mission of the program of study / specialization The Health Field, which is part of the undergraduate Medicine program, has the mission to train the specialists of the university, specializing in the medical field. Among the multiple objectives of the profile, according to the Specific Standards for the medical field recommended by ARACIS, there is a distinction as far as those related to ensuring comprehensive training of doctors is concerned. Mission and objectives of the curriculum are individualized in national higher education system by clarity, distinction and specificity. The mission of teaching and research is well established, containing elements of specificity. 2. Objectives of the program of study / specialization General objectives Developing an efficient and quality education based on modern principles of medicalpharmaceutical pedagogy Improving the quality, diversification and enhancement of the research quality; curricular reform by European standards; Master s degree; Ensuring grants; Upgrading the Secretariat computerization faculty; Teaching information system (using simulation interventions); Develop research and teaching methods; Creation and development of centers of interest to attract foreign students taxpayers; Making contracts with similar universities in Europe. The strategic objectives of the MEDICINE study program The strategic objectives of the study program MEDICINE can be grouped into: a) vocational education for physicians; b) scientific research in the medical field. The main activity fields of medicine focuses on developing: Doctors and medical specialists; Organizing training and specialization requirements for physicians to acquire modern techniques of diagnosis and treatment Fostering a general culture in continuous medical education in the spirit of modern bioethics. In the program of study medicine, every graduate is to participate actively, effectively and directly in the healthcare. Preparation for the doctor is done through: lectures, practical work, internships and seminars. In terms of scientific research, medicine curriculum provides: selecting students with skills and capability to become doctors; information and training students in scientific work, organizing annual scientific sessions;

engage teachers in research contracts preventive orientation, the themes and work methods and standardized recommended by WHO and topics of national interest. To cope with changes in environmental health research program aims at adapting curricula to market needs (flexibility thereof). It can be said that the doctor has a multi key, being able to: diagnose, treat, prevent in the medical-pharmaceutical field. Chaining these features can be supported through a long-term educational process. Minimum suggested by the titles and content of lessons devoted subjects volume is filled with many aspects of the educational process (teachers, methodical, scientific, social) to which must be added lifelong training so that the graduate study program Medicine is able to meet the demands of the workplace. All these goals are intended to be achieved through training graduates through the program of study Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Oradea. Moreover, achieving these objectives is always carefully Faculty Council, which seeks the main directions of development. 2. Skills to be acquired after graduation: Profesionals skills: C1. Identification of the pathological conditions and correct diagnosis of the disease and / or associated diseases; C2. Development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan for the condition (disease) identified; C3. Assessment of disease risk or occurrence of a disease context of an individual or community, followed by the selection and application of the appropriate preventive measures; C4. Addressing health / disease in terms of community features in direct relation to the social, economic and / or cultural conditions of the community; C5. Fulfillment in terms of efficiency and effectiveness of managerial duties imposed by certain professional roles; C6. Initiation and development of scientific research and / or competence formation. Cross skills: C1. Identification of objectives to be achieved, the resources available, conditions completion of their work stages and working times, deadlines and associated risks; C2. Identification of responsibilities within a multidisciplinary team and effectively working within the team or in relation to the patient; C3. Efficient use of information sources and communication resources and training assisted both in Romanian and in an international language. 4. I. Reguirements for passing the the licensing exam: - 356 credits must be obtained for compulsory disciplines - 4 credits must be obtained for optional disciplines - 21 credits must be obtained for practice - 10 credits must be obtained for licence exam (5 credits for Test 1- Fundamental and specialized knowledge and test 2 Thesis presentation) In order to occupy a teaching position the graduate must have the certificate of graduation issued by the Department for Teacher Training. The graduate has to obtain the psycho-pedagogical module credits. For this the applicants will establish a contract of studies with the Department for Teacher Training. Year II.
