Currently preparing the manuscript for this series of studies. Description: Thesis project that extends the line of research on the motivational influences on prospective memory incorporating eye-tracking technology to examine patterns of strategic monitoring as well as the effects of embedded semantically related cues. This study also examines the role of metacognition, particularly predicted performance and perceptions of actual performance in prosocial and self-interested contexts. Description: Assisting with a series of experiment on the influences of auditory context on memory and strategic allocation of attention using eye fixations as a measure of strategic monitoring. Currently extracting and analyzing data from the first experiment. The second experiment in this study will examine age differences using a sample of older adults.
