Objectives Reduce self-stigma Outcome 1: People who experience mental health problems will not limit their own lives and help seeking behaviour as a result of self-stigma. Reduce social exclusion and inequalities Outcome 2: Stigma and discrimination will be reduced among communities and organisations with the potential to have a positive impact on the lives of people with mental health problems. Promote messages of recovery Outcome 3: There is greater understanding across society, and specifically those who experience or are at higher risk of developing mental health problems, that people can and do recover from mental health problems.
