3 FOPH MISSION Possible: progress and results.

4 FOPH Aim of the Mission Possible campaign The aim of the Mission Possible campaign was to break the chain of primary HIV infections by convincing all Swiss Gay and other MSM to practice strictly safer sex for a period of 3-months. 3 months is the time needed for freshly HIV infected people to come out of the primary infection phase.

6 FOPH Results of Mission Possible campaign Evaluation shows: The campaign did encourage gay men to apply the safer sex rules in a more systematic way Improvement of knowledge about PHI Impact mainly among men with a higher education Necessity to increase the information on PHI by making explanations less technical and more accessible to everybody
