2 Objectives 1. Describe school nurses a) HPV and HPV vaccine knowledge, and attitudes, b) perception of their role as an opinion leader for the HPV vaccine, c) self-efficacy to provide HPV vaccine education, d) perception of school district support to provide HPV vaccine education, and e) practice regarding educating parents about the HPV vaccine. 2. Identify factors associated with school nurses professional practice to a) provide parents with HPV vaccine information and b) encourage parents to vaccinate their child against HPV. 3. Describe how these factors can be utilized to create and tailor programs to assist school nurses in providing HPV vaccine information and encouraging parents to vaccine their child against HPV.
