This trend is described as Globality at the corporate level. Executives who successfully operate domestically do not necessarily perform successfully overseas. There are extant researches on global leadership and executive competencies but lack of evidence on what competencies relate to business performance and what predictive competencies of global leaders are important. The purpose of present study was to propose higher globality would influence current, future performance, and the corporate performance. The background characteristics relating with higher globality and high performance were analyzed. The results showed that collaboration, global opportunities, and adjustment are related to current, future and corporate performance consecutively. Globality at the executive level, is defined as the integration of global leadership and executive competencies. Older executives with more travel/working/international working experience had higher globality and performance. The results of this study contribute to the field of global leadership research and it provides practical implications for organization seeking to improve their global leadership effectiveness in a dynamic and challenging worldwide business environment. 1 line spacing

6 Using 14 point bold font with an uppercase in each alphabet (3) ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS I am very thankful to the many people who provided generous support and valuable advice throughout my doctoral studies at the Thammasat Business School, Thammasat University. First, I would like to express my deep and sincere gratitude to my advisor, Associate Professor Dr. Fredric William Swierczek, for his endless support, attention, and patience throughout the dissertation process. His expertise and guidance were of incalculable benefit to my study experience. I would also like to extend my profound appreciation to Associate Professor Dr. Clemens Bechter, Associate Professor Dr.Willi Zimmerman, Associate Professor Dr. Phairat Tintani, Dr. Suvit Maesincee, Dr. Sangsuk Pithayanukul,, my committees, who provided a great deal of academic inspiration and have spent their valuable time and efforts to ensure the quality of this research. I am also grateful to the 194 executives in Pfizer Animal Health worldwide who spent their valuable time to respond to my survey. Several executives gave me opportunities to learn from their real experience and offered their support and encouraged me to complete this study. Without their participation, the completion of this dissertation would have been impossible. Also, my special thanks to Ms.Tida Sunyapredakul, Mr. Nipon Sae Jia, Dr. Jittima Pechpromsorn, Mr. Satheesh Mattathil who helped me collect the survey data. Also, special thanks to Pfizer, the great global company provided me the opportunity, time, and support to complete this study. I sincerely offer my appreciations to Dr. Anothai Ngamvichaikit for her advices on my thesis especially on the analysis. Also, special thanks to Ms. Jeerawan Chankiew and Mr. Benjamin Swierczek for their information support. I would also like to thank Ph.D. friends including Mr. Tharnpas Sattayaraksa and Dr. Dulyathip Suntivong who have shared their experiences, and information on doing research. Last, but certainly not least, I must convey my greatest thanks to my mother: my wife, and my two beloved daughters. Without their unconditional encouragement, love and support, I would not have been able to complete my doctorate. Acknowledgements should be written in academic style with no spoken language. In case of personal name, surname, family name and titles are needed. In addition, royal titles, noble titles or religious titles have to be specified. Double lines spacing Mr. Songwut Sakchalathorn
