L. reuteri Prodentis delays regrowth of caries-associated Streptococcus mutans after full-mouth disinfection. Daily use of L. reuteri Prodentis showed beneficial effect on oral malodour assessed by organoleptic scores. The probiotic lozenge containing L. reuteri Prodentis significantly reduced salivary Streptococcus mutans streptococci. 19
