Passion440 is an RIC (Receiver-In-Canal) hearing aid. The receiver, or loudspeaker, in Passion440 is placed in the entrance of the ear canal itself, with the rest of the hearing aid placed behind the ear. Zen offers you opportunities to take a soothing personal time out from the everyday. The Zen program plays random, non-repeated and infinite tones and chimes with no sudden changes in tonality or tempo. You can choose from five different Zen styles in minor and major keys. Your hearing care professional can help adjust each style for tempo, volume and pitch according to taste. Using a sophisticated hearing aid with advanced features can sometimes be challenging. Passion440 helps take the guesswork out of hearing aid use with our innovative SmartSpeak system. SmartSpeak uses actual recorded speech to inform you of various hearing aid functions, such as low battery power and program mode. SmartSpeak is available in more than 20 languages and can be customised for tone cues or speech, volume and message preferences.

Dual Integrated Signal Processing (ISP) technology is the genius of Passion440. Dual ISP brings details to life by creating a dynamic listening experience while giving you control of the preferences that suit you best. The microphone system in Passion440 automatically allows you to focus on sounds behind you as well as those from in front. The Audibility Extender automatically shifts highpitched sounds, often the first to succumb to hearing loss, into your audible range. The Speech Enhancer uses your individual hearing loss as its guide to dampen extraneous noise and gives speech the clarity it deserves. Passion440 s Multidirectional Active Feedback Cancelling system minimises uncomfortable acoustic feedback and whistling, classic problems of hearing aid use. 6

That s why Passion440 is not only virtually invisible, but the parts you do see are available in a range of appealing colours. Passion440 is available in any of 14 top shell colours from subtle to the more noticeable. These specially selected colours, together with the tiny, elegant housing design, give Passion440 immediate visual appeal. You can also ask your hearing care professional to change colours later if your needs change over time. The microphone grid in Passion440, which protects the microphone from dirt and moisture, comes in your choice of platinum, gold or transparent. You can simply exchange the grid when you like, and can create your own hearing aid colour combination by matching the grid to any of the 14 top shell colours. With the RC4 remote control, you can make adjustments to one or both hearing aids as needed. Use the remote control to change listening programs and adjust the volume manually. It is available in three colours: fashion grey, pearl white and classic grey. 9
